Innovation and Society students learn to use design thinking to innovate in a variety of fields and careers. As part of the curriculum for the program, students should expect to complete at least two internships that emphasize innovation in their primary major or in an area of specific interest to their career development. Planning to participate in an internship should begin in their first year at the University of Miami.
